About

K. ROBERT CAMPBELL practiced law in Southeastern North Carolina for over thirty years, after a first career as a North Carolina State Park Ranger. His combined legal and outdoor experiences provide a rich background for Cameron's adventures.

In addition to the Cameron Scott series, he has written several articles for local publication; had his humor story, "The Great Grayson County Third of July Picnic and Softball Extravaganza", published in the North Carolina State Bar Journal; and authored a stage comedy, "Radio Play", and a musical, "Winter Nightsong", that were produced in Brunswick County, NC.

Hobbies include carpentry, drumming (including drumming with NC's Harbour Towne Fest Band), acting, and model trains.

The author's short story, "A Ring of Truth," appears in the short story collection 'Enter Stage Write," which was produced to help raise income for Wilmington, NC, theater organizations while they had to remain dormant during the Covid epidemic.
